My initial thoughts of blogging were not that far fetched from what I found when doing a little bit of research on the subject. My thoughts on the subject were that it was a form of speaking ideas to the public eye through the internet. The actual definition and information that I got was that it was originally just a personal journal that could be shared online and then it took off leading to blogging.
Some of the notes that I took after reading about the networked learning is that the study offers a model of networked learning for self-efficacy based on the integration of professional contexts, and the intervention included a blog-based learning community and social networking with professionals (Anders 2018). I loved the idea that “The learning design integrates three techniques: a focus on developing personal learning networks, a blog-based learning community, and mastery experiences for networking with professionals.” (Anders 2018). This is very cool because it really will increase the self-efficacy.
Something I learned after reading the annotating with groups is that “Open and Restricted groups can work either with the Hypothesis account system, or with publishers’ 3rd-party account implementations.” I think this is important because it offers some diversity between how you do either. I also learned how to annotate with groups which is pretty cool!
What do you think about blogging and networked learning?
